Presentation
Cordelería Maciá is located in the city of Callosa de segura, province of Alicante (Spain), industrial city placed between the fishing seaports of Santa Pola and Torrevieja.
Its birth was possible thanks to the Industrial Engineer Mr. Antonio Maciá Rives, essential pillar for its creation.
In the beginning, the manufacture of ropes and twine was handmade making use of natural fibers which were, little by little, replaced with an industrial production of synthetic fibers.
Since its conception, the main values of the company have been honesty, dinamism, loyalty and a strong commitment with its customers.
These values continue to be of great significance in his son Mr. Manuel and his grandson Mr. Antonio.

Polythene Ropes
Polythene is a synthetic fiber similar to the polypropylene, but with less elasticity. It is flexible, waterproof and floats. It can be affected by high temperatures though.
Polythene ropes are normally used for fishing , awnings, decoration, agriculture...
Among the wide range of rigging products, we are specialized in lading bays (with or without weight)and couples (float and weight)to equip nets.

High Resilience Nylon Ropes
It is a very resistant and elastic synthetic fiber of soft and flexible touch. It does not wear out in the water.
This kind of rope is specially recommended for weight, traction and load works, fishing, construction, safety nets, tugging, sports, awnings, knots...
We are highly qualified in black and white nylon rigging for tuna fishing boats.

Polypropylene Ropes
This fiber is suitable for several uses giving outstanding yields. Its rates of strength are very high, but it has less elasticity than nylon.
It is flexible and resistant to traction and rubbing. It is light, floats and does not wear out in the water, nor loses resistance. Nevertheless, it has a low return when exposed to sunlight.
These ropes are advised for weight and load works, agriculture, fishing, construction…

It is a synthetic fiber recommended for those who expect the maximum yield from a rope. It keeps its original features under every circumstance (cold, heat).

Braided Polythene
Polythene is a synthetic fiber used when we do not require a high yield. It is similar to polypropylene, but with less elasticity. It is flexible and impermeable and floats. It can be affected by high temperatures though.
This kind of twine is mostly used for fishing.

The manufacturing is done in polyethylene (braided and wired) Nylon high resilence, polystyrene and polypropylene.
There is a high range of colors.
Bubble meshes
Its manufacture is made of high resilence Nylon and polypropylene
The most used colors are white, brown, black and green. All these meshes are without knot.

Thanks to such system, we make sure that all of the factors that might affect the quality of our products, technical, human or administrative, are under control preventing any kind of fault. Thus, we takesamples in the factory and carry out tests (breaking load, heat exposure, humidity, acids...) in our highly equiped laboratories.
Through this process we collect tests providing enough information so as to, if necessary, reorientate the manufacture of our goods.
All in all, our quality system leads us to certify that our products meet the European regulations in an attempt of increasing, if possible, our confidence in our clients who are, after all, our highest priority.
